Krillion unlimited play with no daily cap

Krillion Unlimited is our Krillion-style game with the cap taken off.

The Krillion-style Daily gives you ten prompts and then makes you wait for midnight. That wait is what makes a streak mean something, but ten prompts go fast when you are hunting for answers nobody else would give. Krillion Unlimited is the practice room: pick a length, press Play and keep digging.

It is free, with no paywall and no account. Nothing you do in Krillion Unlimited touches your Krillion-style streak, and your Noillirk streak is separate again.

A line of figurines walking along a winding path of cream paper tiles, while a yellow figurine has stepped off onto a side trail of mint green tiles.
Off the main path, one tile at a time.

Choose 10, 20 or endless

Every Krillion unlimited run keeps the Daily's rules: half a minute a prompt, five bands from Too Popular to Lone Wolf, and questions that count more as the run goes on.

A yellow figurine on a starting tile where three paths of tiles begin: a short coral path that stops, a mint path that loops back around, and a yellow path that winds off into the distance.
An endless run keeps going, prompt after prompt, until you stop.
  • 10: A full run

Shaped like the Daily: questions 1 and 2 count once, 3 to 5 twice, 6 to 8 three times and 9 and 10 four times. About five minutes, with a challenge link at the end.

  • 20: Two laps

The weights start again at question 11, so the second half is a fresh climb. The longest Krillion unlimited run you can send as a challenge.

  • ∞: Endless

Keeps going until you stop. The ×1 to ×4 pattern repeats every ten questions and your points keep adding up. Endless runs aren't saved; their share text links back to Krillion Unlimited.

How Krillion Unlimited scores your answers

The same five bands as the Krillion-style Daily. The rarer the right answer, the higher the band.

  • Too Popular, 10 points: the five answers at the top of the prompt's board.
  • Common, 25 points: well-known answers close behind them.
  • Uncommon, 50 points: answers some people think of.
  • Hidden Gem, 75 points: the long tail, where most right answers live.
  • Lone Wolf, 100 points: one or two hand-picked answers per prompt, the rarest good ones on the list.

Each band's points are multiplied by the question's weight. A perfect 10-prompt run is 2,500 points and a perfect 20-prompt run is 5,000. A pass, a timeout or an answer we don't accept scores nothing.

A wooden tray with five compartments: a heap of grey tokens, fewer blue ones, fewer violet ones, three coral ones and a single yellow token, with a yellow figurine standing beside it.
Plenty of answers sit in the crowded bands. Only one or two get the top spot.
A brass magnifying glass on a wooden table frames a yellow figurine beside one yellow tile, set apart from a heap of pastel tiles behind them.
The reveal sets the obvious answers aside and points to the ones you could have found.

Practise finding the long tail

Every answer in a run is followed by a short reveal. It shows your answer's band and points, a few rarer answers you could have said, starting with the Lone Wolf, and the five answers everyone says.

Play a few runs and you start to see how a category is shaped: the famous five everyone reaches for first, the well-known answers just behind them, and the long list of correct answers that hardly anyone names. That is the skill the Krillion-style Daily tests, with no second try.

A few habits help. Skip the first answer that comes to mind, since it is probably everyone else's first answer too. Think of a sub-group within the category, like a smaller country or an older album. And when the clock is low, any correct answer outside the obvious five still scores well.

Krillion Unlimited on every stage

Switch stages from the game above. A run keeps its prompts and points when you change the scene.

  • Sky Climb: your points lift our krill on its balloons, and an endless run keeps climbing.
  • Tabletop: the original wooden table, with your points and the obvious answers you stepped around.
  • Frozen Peak: a snowy trail past pines and cabins that rises with every answer.
  • Haunted Manor: a lantern-lit house where rarer answers open more rooms.

The answer list grows with every run

Long runs find long-tail answers, and that is how the list improves.

Each prompt has a prepared list of accepted answers, but rare answers are where any list runs thin. If a correct answer isn't on ours yet, the game says “Not on our list yet” and the round stays open for another try. Pass or let the clock run out with that answer typed, and the result card offers “Should this count? Tell us”. Every answer we turn down is also counted anonymously.

We review them, add the ones that should count, and each new answer gets its band automatically. The answer list keeps growing as more people play and submit answers, which makes every run a little fairer than the one before.

Challenge a friend on the same run

Runs of 10 or 20 prompts end with a challenge link.

A crowd of plain wooden figurines on a large tile in the middle of a table, with a yellow figurine alone on a small tile at the far left and a mint green figurine alone at the far right.
In a Krillion-style challenge, the winner is whoever stood furthest from the crowd.

Finish a 10- or 20-prompt run and the result panel makes share cards, a short text and a link. Your friend plays the same prompts in the same order, Krillion-style, and after each answer sees what you said. The board for that link ranks everyone by points.

Endless runs share their text with a link to Krillion Unlimited instead, since nobody can replay a run with no end.

Questions about Krillion Unlimited

Short answers about the endless Krillion-style mode.

Is Krillion Unlimited free?

Yes. There is no paywall, no account and no limit on how many runs you play.

Is this Krillion's own unlimited mode?

No. Noillirk is an independent game we made. It isn't affiliated with Krillion or any other site. Krillion Unlimited is our own Krillion-style mode, with our prompts, answer lists, bands and scoring.

Does Krillion Unlimited affect my streak?

No. Streaks count finished Krillion-style Dailies only, and the Noillirk streak is kept separately again. Unlimited runs are for practice and for fun.

Are the prompts different from the Daily?

They come from the same question bank in a new order for every run, so you may meet a prompt you have seen in a Daily. It scores the same Krillion-style way.

Why wasn't my answer accepted?

It may be wrong, or right but not on our list yet. If you pass or run out of time with that answer typed, the result card has a “Should this count? Tell us” button. We review every report and add the answers that should count, so the list keeps improving as more people play.

How long does a Krillion unlimited run take?

Each prompt gives you up to half a minute, so a 10-prompt run is at most five minutes of answering and a 20-prompt run at most ten, plus a few seconds of reveal after each answer. Endless lasts until you stop.

Can I play Krillion Unlimited with friends?

Yes. Finish a 10- or 20-prompt run and share its challenge link. Your friend plays the same prompts, Krillion-style, and sees your answers as they go.

Noillirk is an independent game we made. It isn't affiliated with Krillion or any other site.
